Writing to you from our villa Chiafonta. The arrival went smoothly, the villa is beautiful. I feel like I am living Under the Tuscan Sun. Since we were so early we went to Cortona for lunch and walked around until we could get into the villa. Everyone is so kind and gracious. We are touring around and just love the area. Yesterday we went to Arezzo and bought way too much gold jewelry! Tonight we are having dinner at home. I wish you were here to experience the INCREDIBLE AROMA in the Villa from the meal they are preparing I hope you got the videos we sent you of us all hanging out at the villa ! Thanks for all you've done, it is much appreciated!

Patrice, we had a lovely stay at Chifonta, thanks so much for recommending it. I apologize for all the date changes due first to Covid, and then to schedule conflicts. I had to have driven you crazy with all the changes but you were always calm and eager to please. Thank you for that. We loved everything about Chifonta, the rustic country feel to the place, the lovely swimming pool, walking distance to a small village and the short drive uphill to get to Cortona. upon your recommendations, we spend a day on Lake Trassimeno and loved it. The beach town you recommended was a fun summer day. we took the boat out to the island for lunch and Jim did some parasailing. It was easy to get to Orvieto, Assisi, Perugia ( chocolate factory for the kids!) and even spent some time in Pienza and Bagno Vignoni as you suggested. Thanks for a great trip!

Patrice, Thanks so much for all you did to make my three month vacation at Chifonte so special. I appreciate you getting SKY TV brought in from your friend in the UK, as you know it was very important to me. The wi fi worked as you promised, all the way out to the pool. My friends that came and went all loved the coziness of the house, and the cooking classes at Il Falconier you set up were wonderful. Very happy with the villa cook and staff. Everyone was so helpful. It was an enjoyable time Under the Tuscan Sun.

What a wonderful stay at Chifonta! It was so charming, a typical Tuscan farmhouse. Just what we were looking for. Loved being close to a village, we walked to the pizzeria restaurant a few times, and a short drive to Cortona but difficult parking. Thanks for arranging the day trips, we really enjoyed the villages you took us to and our guides and drivers were so kind and friendly. We wanted to take them all home with us. Loved that little stop at Bevangan on our way home from Assisi and Spello, what a nice idea you had! Everyone at the villa was very helpful, and the meals were fantastic! lots of memories for all of us! thanks for making it a very special trip

Villa Chifonta was a great spot for us. We ended up with only 8 so everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom.

The villa worked out great - we had good weather so did spend a day at the pool. Some quirks to the place but we found them charming. The washing machine took a very long time to cycle - a few used it - i just washed out a few things and hung in the sun instead.
Meals we ordered were excellent. The Mama's dinner when we arrived got there right on time - both Anna and Paula who brought it and came back to cook for us later were delightful. So much food. We had leftovers from the first night. Our last night dinner was wonderful - we had leftovers then too so we talked about maybe we should have done earlier in the stay - but it was excellent.
We had an amazing dinner at Osteria Teatro - such delicious food and service - and it was so reasonable thanks for the recommendation. The dollar is so strong right now.
