The city of Turin is mostly known for their industry and comfortable life style. While an economic powerhouse it is also a city of grace and charm. Beautiful Baroque architecture against a backdrop of the Alps creates a breathtaking sight. You can easily spend a few days in Turin (Torino) visiting the numerous museums and churches and the small towns of Santuario d'Oropa, Varallo, Novara, before heading to the beautiful lake resort of Lago di Orta, set majestically among the foothills of the Alps. Further on is the Laggo di Maggiore, another of the group of lakes that make up the world famous luxury area known as the "Lakes Region".
