Wanted you to know that the week there was really great. The owners could not have taken better care of us. I could not give hosts/owners higher marks. The chef, even thought we were disappointed she cancelled the cooking class, turned out to serve terrific meals (maybe one was not as great) but also invited the group at times into the kitchen as she cooked, stopped in to see us during dinner, gave us the recipes she cooked and was really a terrific person.She was open to the menus and suggestions from Alain and me. I would use her again.
While hot water was at times spotty, it was predictable and not an inconvenience to the group as the week went on. The group itself consisted of terrific people and we all got along magnificently. The wine tasting and walking around Montalcino was a big hit.
In Paris now, recovering after driving here the last two days (1200 km-720 miles). Grazie per tutti!
