The house was located in a very pretty area amid olive trees and vineyards overlooking Lucca. Very relaxing after sightseeing and very weill equipped especially the kithcne. The only think I could think of would be screens for windows since there were a lot of mosquitos, however, i know that screens are not big in Europe.
We had a GPS system which fortunately made it easier. Just be prepared for the winding, narrow roads.
Siena was our favorite town and the Duomo floors are very beautiful, Wednesday is also market day in Siena when we arrived and that was a lot of fun as well.
Lucca has some great shops and it is very nice to take a morning exploring them. Overall we rated this house a 4+
We were very happy booking with Papavero Villa Rentals, they had the widest seleciton of homes and very accurate in the description of the property. Also they were very imformative as to the surrounding towns, restaurants and things to do in the area.
