What To Do Now?

We think the hardest thing you have to do when planning your vacation to Italy is choosing the villa rental. So many choices! Now that you've done that, relax and let the fun begin!

Go to the Planning Your Trip on the Navigation Bar to your left.

A car is a necessity if you are staying out in the country. Get a quote on line by clicking Car Rental on the navigational bar to your left. You will find lots of information to make it easier for you to decide what type of car you will need.

We recommend Trip Cancellation Insurance not only to cover the cost of your trip should you not be able to go, but also for the medical benefits it offers should you get ill while on vacation. We highly suggest you read about the reasons we recommend Trip Cancellation Insurance.

Cell phones are becoming another necessity while traveling. Check with your local provider to see if your phone can be used in Italy. However, make sure you ask them what the roaming rates are while you are in Italy. Most likely it will be somewhere around $1.99 for all incoming and outgoing calls you make. If that is the case, you would be better off renting an Italian cell phone, where all incoming calls are free and your outgoing calls are less than .50 euro cents per minute. Find all the details when you click on Cell Phone Rentals.

Not renting a car? We can provide Transfers from the airport, train station or where ever you need to go. We can also arrange Hotels for those one or two nights in the city, (don't forget Short Stays - rentals available for less than a week)

Our frequent trips to Italy have garnered many friends and enable us to recommend and arrange a variety of day tours and services, all pre-approved by Papavero Villa Rentals so that you can book with confidence. We can arrange private and group Tours, shopping trips to the local markets with your chef and return back to your villa for a cooking lesson and lunch. Make a mask in Venice or ceramics in Umbria, visit a vineyard and taste their wines and book your tickets to most museums on line. You'll also receive a packet of information from us to help you prepare for your trip, including a book on independent travel to Italy, things to do in the local area, a list of our favorite restaurants and much much more.
