Giudecca is an island in the Venetian Lagoon, and considered part of the Dorsoduro sestiere of Venice but is separated from it by the water (Giudecca channel). Easily reachable by a frequent public service (vaporetto) working day and night it has the enormous advantage of being well protected from mass tourism. It is a more peacefu Venice, with two of the most famous churches from the famous architect, Andrea Palladio - the Redentore and Zitelle. Three of the most renown hotels in Venice lie in Giudecca - Cipriani, Bauer Palladio and the Hilton Stucky as well as two historic landmark Ventian restaurants: Altanella, conveniently located just a few steps from the apartment, and Harris Dolci - where you MUST try their chocolate gelato, no matter if you arrive in Venice during January or June!
You are in a lovely Venetian neighborhood and within a very short walk, you will find everything you need to prepare an authentic meal in your professional kitchen: one of the few supermarkets in Venice, various alimentari ( small grocery stores) and one of the island's best fish monger's.
Taking a Vaporetto you can reach within minutes the station, Accademia, Guggenheim Museum or Punta della Dogana new exhibition space, just beyond the Canale della Giudecca, or the Biennale exhibition areas getting down at the third stop

The front door is at the top of the staircase, entering into a long foyer. To your right is the entrance to the Twin Bedroom which can be converted into a King on request. As you enter the bedroom, there is a half bath on your left ( sink and toilet) and then entrance into the bedroom with windows looking out over the canal. On the other side of the bedroom is a second bathroom, with shower.
On the other side of the hallway is the King Bedroom with two bathrooms, one with toilet and another with sink and bathtub with a mounted shower.
The living room is on the other side of the hallway with windows out onto the canal. From this living room you reach the contemporary stainless steel eat in kitchen and two more windows looking out over the canal.
Daily cleaning includes making the b eds and straigtening up, and linens and bath towels are changed weekly. Both bathrooms have hairdryers, and air conditioning as well as Wi-Fi access is included in the price of the rental.
