This delightful property is located in the heart of the Montepulciano wine region south of the city of Siena. This area is known as Le Crete Sienese and is characterized by its rich clay earth - the famous terra di Siena - and tall cypress trees. One of the most photographed areas of Tuscany.
The original structure is in typical Tuscan rustic style - with terra cotta floors, exposed clay brick walls, wooden beams and original frescoes but restored to the luxury and comfort you look for on holiday. Dating back to the 17th century, the original owners converted this building to be their summer retreat. Between 1995 and 2000, the current owners undertook a massive restoration to bring it up to what it is today. Large spacious common rooms, en suite bathrooms and lots of outdoor living areas are what you will find now. Falco Nero is part of a wine estate in the Montepulciano area of Tuscany. They also make their own olive oli, wild boar salamis, pecorino cheese and grappa. White truffles grow on their property and it is possible to arrange a truffle hunt during the autumn months when they are in season. The owners offer complimentary wine tours with tastings and guided walks through their vineyards and olive groves. Your stay at Falco Nero will leave you breathless and relaxed.

ACCOMMODATIONS
A picturesque lane lined with cypresses leads forms an enchanting entranceway. The house is furnished with antique family furniture and fine design details . There is a large panoramic terrace on the upper floor which offers an unforgettable views. It is possible to get tours of the wine estate this proeprty sits on.
MAIN HOUSE

GROUND FLOOR :
The charming frescoed entrance foyer, takes you into a large living room decorated with family mementos and a beautiful stone fireplace, a dining room, a very modern professionally-equipped kitchen and a spacious veranda housing a characteristic traditional wood-burning oven and a barbecue. The sunset view from the terrace - stretching beyond the pool - is simply magnificent. There is also a very large "party" room with an open fireplace that can be used for all types of gatherings. The Villa wine cellar which can be set up for wine-tastings. There are two bedrooms on this floor, a spacious handicap-accessible en suite double bedroom with doors leading out to the gardens and an en suite master bedroom with sitting room and sofa bed.

FIRST FLOOR :
There are another six double bedrooms with orthopedic mattresses. Two can be made up as twins upon request. All have en suite baths with shower or Jacuzzi tub, two of the bedrooms have direct access to the loggia and all afford splendid views. Each is equipped with a mini-bar and telephone. There is a small living room on this floor as well.

COTTAGE:
There are two double bedrooms with en suite baths furnished with Jacuzzi tubs. There is a charming living room and full kitchen with a washing machine. The cottage has its own panoramic outdoor dining area and barbecue.

GARDENS :
There are various areas to lounge or enjoy al fresco dinners. Large porticos and loggios are the focal point of this house, along with the large terraces. A beautiful old stone oven on one of the terraces can be used for making great pizzas. There is a lovely free-form swimming pool which includes a hydro-massage area and features an outdoor shower. The swimming pool is 1,40 meters deep from end to end and has built in jacuzzi (not heated). A large lawn is ideal for a game of soccer or vollyeball. There are various areas to lounge or enjoy al fresco dinners.
