With spectacular views of the sea from the pool and the many terraces, this hillside vacation rental on Italy's Amalfi Coast offers comfort and a garden setting from which to enjoy the scenery. Built on two levels and boasts an internal and external stairway, a small cottage and a private car park for two cars.The lower level has its own terrace with shaded pergola and outdoor furniture for delightful al-fresco dining and drinks. Gentle slopes lead up to the second level of the terraced garden  a blaze of colour with bougainvilleas and aromatic lemon trees. The final level is reserved for the swimming pool with breathtaking views of the sea below.
This Amalfi Coast villa is also a convenient location for day trips to the towns of Amalfi, Positano, Ravello, Capri, and Sorrento. In an area where parking is difficult to find, the villa rental includes parking spaces for two mid size or three compact cars. This villa on Italy's Amalfi Coast is great for families or groups of friends.
Villa Croci is located along the coastal road about 3 km from the center of Amalfi. The two nearest restaurants, which can deliver food to the villa, are just 300 m. A communal staircase of approximately 400 steps from the villa, leads down to the Santa Croce public beach, located directly below the villa. The Santa Croce beach has two restaurants, as well as umbrellas and lounge chairs for hire. Shops, banks, post office, and bars are situated in Amalfi. A bus stop marked SITA on the main road just 50 meters from the villa will take you to Positano, while another stop 200 meters from the villa goes to Amalfi. Amalfi is 15 minutes away and Positano is 35 minutes away. Ferries and hydrofoil leave daily from Amalfi to Capri (1 hour), Positano (20 minutes), Ischia (2 hours), and Salerno (1 hour). The services operate only during the summer months. A rental car is recommended when staying in this Amalfi Coast vacation rental. Blue SITA buses cost about 1-2 euros, depending on destination. Stops are marked with a blue and white SITA sign. The small internal bus (orange mini-bus) of Positano is marked by a brown FERMATA (STOP)sign.

UPPER LEVEL :
19 steps from the parking lot to the main house and an addtional four steps lead into a front door where you enter into a foyer On the right a door accesses the master bedroom with a Queen bed, en suite bathroom with shower. French doors lead out to its own balcony with tiles made in nearby Vietri sul Mare. Furnished with sunchairs it is the perfect place to steal away with a good book and enjoy the scents from the surrounding pine forests and salty breeze off the ocean. From the foyer you also have an elegant wooden staircase ( 2o steps ) that takes you down to the lower ( Main ) level.
LOWER LEVEL :
A large open space consisting of a dining room and a living room furnished comfortably in coastal Mediterranean style has large French doors leading out to the terrace. The terracotta floor of the living room has inlaid blue tiles of all 12 signs of the zodiac. Doors lead out to the terrace where there is addtional dining for 12 guests.
With the sea on your left and a hallway leads to one twin bedroom and one double bedroom each with an en-suite bathroom with shower. To the right of the living area, there is another double bedroom with an en suite bathroom with shower. Both bedrooms have doors opening up to the terrace. A small corridor leads to the large fully-equipped kitchen where another set of French doors leads you to the terrace. . GUESTHOUSE:

From the kitchen level an external passage links to the Guesthouse which has two independent entrances. The guesthouse contains one twin bedroom and one double bedroom each with its own bathroom with shower.
The villa is surrounded by olive and pine trees along with many other Mediterranean plants and spectacular terraces on three different levels (five levels total, from the parking lot to the pool) covered with violet bougainvillea pergolas, outdoor furniture, marble tables, and garden seats providing very comfortable seating areas for al fresco meals. More paved terraces and gardens planted with pink and red geraniums, are situated around the property. The swimming pool is located at the third and lower level, and is surrounded by a spacious terracotta terrace with twelve lounge chairs, two showers, and a shaded area with dining table and chairs for twelve guests. There is also a barbeque area. The rental villa is accessed through a remote-controlled gate on the road level which opens onto the parking area below.
Beach access is by 380 carved rock steps with restaurants. Beach chairs and umbrellas can be rented there.
