Patrice, you really helped us choose the perfect place - a beautiful part of Tuscany in a nice village with nice amenities and a great panoramic view.
The owner and caretaker were very welcoming , warm and friendly. We enjoyed everything about this house. First off, it was just as described on your website and talking to you on the phone, the owner is such a nice person and so accommodating to us. It really was just what we were looking for. The bedrooms were excellent, the bathrooms simple but clean and funcitional. As well as the kitchen. The living area and kitchen table area were great for gathering around and the terrace and swimming pool were wonderful. The views and peice and quiet was so appreciated. We found the property to be clean and well taken care of, the staff was very nice and check in and checking out was very easy. The only suggestion we have is that it would have been nice to have a larger supply of kitchen tools, carving knives, etc.
The area the house is located and the village are just beautiful. the townspeople were friendly and there were so many beautiful placesa and towns within short driving distances. We took your recommendation to have dinner at the hote down the street and it was excellent! we had our first taste of truffle. One day, Signra Lidia, the church caretaker, asked us if we would like to see the other church in town, about a block away. She was opening it for a choir group from Germany who were traveling through europe and singing at various chruches. While we were there, they were singing, it was so moving.
Overall, the entire renting experience was excellent, the house was nicer than the photos showed it to be, which was a pleasant surprise!
I would definitely recommend Papavero Villas to others. I would tell them to determine what type of place and location they are looking for to provide as much input for help in making a selection. I would tell them that Papvero Villas may be more costly than some others, but based on our stay, that the knowledge and assistance of Patrice and the location, view, state and cleanliness of the villa justify a higher cost. You have done a nice job ! Thank you

We had the best vacation of our lives! Casa Federica was the perfect choice for our family of five. It was so wonderfull! Thanks for all your help in making this a fantastic trip. All the advice you gave us was great, the print outs were so helpful and thorough, down to how to buy gas! We couldn't have had a better trip. GRAZIE

We had the most fantiastic time! It is a spectacular place to spend a week and the location can't be beat! It's great to be able to get away from it all and still be so close to so much!
We look forward to coming back again someday. Our best memory is spending the evening in the restaurant across the street watching Italy beat France in the World Cup Final Match. What a party! the owner was freely pouring Prosecco for the next 2 hours, people were dancing and cheering, and we had a chance to get to know everyone in the crowd. The food is terrific so make sure you get there !

We celebrated our 12th year wedding anniversary and a birthday at Casa Federica. It was lovely! Our apologies for ONLY calling out our Top 10 list of things we love ABOUT Casa Federica. And thank you for helping us choose this lovely home for a very important vacation!
1. Kind Neighbors: Bar Le Crete owners were very kind and helped us locate the house when we arrived in town after dark. They sent us into the welcoming arms of Giovanni, the smiling gardnere who showed us teh lay of the house and let us use their cell phone ( much cheaper than bringing your own.)
2. Tartuffi Hunting Dogs and their friendly owner. Dogs are the same color as the surrounding hills!!
3. Luxurious Bed Linens in lovely bedrooms with well hung art prints, the simplicity of it all is refreshing.
4. Cool Rustic House dispite the golden Tuscan orb beating down each day
5.Sunbathing in the nude by the pool and marveling at the big black bees the size of humming birds!
6.Day tripping from this great central location. We made it to the Arezzo antique market the first Sunday of the month, Cortona, San Gimignano, Siena Treuanda for dinnr, Montisi, etc.
7. Well stocked kitchen
8. Well stocked town including the COOP supermarket and Butcher shop that allowed me to prepare great meals like fresh pasta with raddichio, tomato, spring onions and grilled pork steaks marinated in white wine, olive oil and garlic served with fresh fruit salad, potato salad, cucmbers and radish relish
9. Finally, knowing this house will be here another 100 years and giving delight to other travelers!

What a perfect visit in a lovely home, from the owner's warm welcom to our caretaker's happily given assitance and the simple beauty of the house, not to mention the surroudning countryside, delightful towns and delicious meals. ( Our favorite restaurant was in Poggio Antico) My husband and I could not have choosen a better spot to spend our 65 and 75th birthdays. It all brings to mind an old Quaker verse set to music by Aaron Copeland
'Tis a gift to be simple
'Tis a gift to be free
'Tis a gift to come down to where you out to be.
And when we find ourselves in the place just right
'Twill be in the valley of love and delight.
We hope to return soon!

The house was just perfect, we loved it! It has personality, not too fancy, but well decorated in Italian Country style. We loved the privacy the house offered! Walking through the small village to our house and then opening up the metal gate to enter the courtyard with these fantastic views - it felt like we were out in the open country somewhere. What a wonderful surprise!
We suggest you order the first shopping that the owner offers, we were very happy with the quality and selections. Very convenient to have the basics stocked in the pantry when you arrive.
We loved going to all the walled cities, especialy loved San Gimingnano and Pienza. We LOVED the castle in our own town and ate there twice it was that good!
We couldn't have wished for anything better. We were not disappointed at all. By the way, there were hair dryers in the villa in each bathroom.
This certainly made our 30th anniversary a dream vacation. We got to practice our Italian and the locals got to practice their English. It was so much fun!

The villa was beautifull situated. We never tired of the stunning view of Le Crete. The home itself was comfortable and had character. You really felt that you were in Tuscany!
The location was a big plus, we loved being part of the village, yet having that breathtaking view of the countryside from the patio and back rooms. The house itself, while not luxurious ( we didn't expect it to be) suited us perfectly. We could prepare meals, sit and relax and even enjoy the fireplace. The plumbing was modern and functional- unlike a number of other places we stayed through other agencies. The bathrooms were a big plus for spoilt North Americans!
We were disappointed there was no oven, but we adjusted! We loved the nearby woods that were great for comptemplative walks, and the quirky artwork garden open to the public by the very kind artist who lives in the wooded area nearby. We also loved the village Osteria, the local butcher and the restaurant at the Castle. Our favourite nearby towns were San Quirico and Pienza - both gorgeous! We also loved the Brunellos in the area, and drank copious amounts of this fantastic local wine. We were also at the house during truflle season - indulge highly recommend all visitors to your hearts content and even take a truffle hunting tour, lots of fun!
We were very impressed with the attitude of the groundskeeper Guiliano and his wife Giovanna. They went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Giuliano provided us with home pressed olive oil, charcoal for the bbq, firestarter, and firewood. He also kept the pool open for us well past the usual closure date because the 2 hardiest of our party wanted to swim. The owner was just lovely, she made us feel at home and made us feel she trusted us to take good care of the place.
We were very happy with the service provided by Papavero Villa Rentals and their prompt responses to our many questions. We also found your description of the property and surroundings very accurate. We enjoyed our stay so much and would recommend this property to others.

We loved our stay at Casa Federica. The owner is such a delight, so pleasant and accomodating.Giuliano, our caretaker, was so helpful, always making sure everything was okay. Even if he didn't speak English and we didn't speak Italian, we had no problems communicating. The house is extremely clean, even the pool. The poeple of this small village are very friendly and you can do all your shopping right in the town with th elocal co-op and butcher shops. What a view we had from our terrace and bedroom windows!
