The palace is found in many Venetian landscape paintings including ones by Canaletto and Guardi. It stands picturesquely beside a 16th century Palladio church and a 15th century Codussi bell tower. It is steeped in history with stunning views all around and has multiple places for dining or relaxing with drinks, including the campo the palace sits on, along with private decks and terraces. The palazzo was once the patriarchal church of Venice. Located between The Biennale Garden and the Arsenale, it is a neighborhood for those who desire the quiet Venetian life rather than the hustle and bustle of tourists. Yet you are only a short walk to three vaporetto stops and a leisurely stroll will take you to the center of the Piazza San Marco in under twenty minutes. Rarely will you find a free standing Palace set among tree lined gardens, a campo and canal all within your views.

ACCOMMODATIONS

GROUND FLOOR:The main entrance leads to the stairs and the elevator. On the right is a small entrance hall, hallway and the main kitchen. A short staircase of four steps leads to the 1,000 square foot cavanna - a typical Venetian roof covered boat house for gondolas and water taxis and now an ideal place to hold large parties. The cavanna is also accessible from the main entrance, making it ideal for wedding receptions or business meetings seating up to 50 guests. Adjacent is the ground floor kitchen with doors for the staff and caterers. Guest bath with shower Private boat dock for hired taxis and direct access to the Cavanna. Spa Room with Hot Tub
FIRST FLOOR: The elevator opens on to the dining area with two tables that can accommodate 20 guests. Double doors lead to the outdoor dining terrace that looks out to the canal and neighborhood rooftops. A balcony on the other side of the room overlooks a campo. Living room can accommodate 10 comfortably. Large windows let in the light and offer up views of the nearby canal and bell tower. Small kitchen with stove, oven refrigerator/freezer and dishwasher. King bedroom en suite with shower also has door to the hallway, Beautiful views will remind you you are in Venice. Twin bedroom ( cannot be joined ) consists of 2 French beds (full beds) en suite with shower facing the campo.
SECOND FLOOR: King bedroom en suite with shower and tub with hand held shower, balcony over the garden and windows over the canal. King bedroom en suite with walk in shower with Turkish bath, views overlooking the canal. there is also a small single bed suitable for small child. Twin bedroom ( cannot be combined ) en suite with shower. King bedroom with open style bath with shower stall. Small kitchenet corner for coffee machine,Small closet with washing machine
MANSARDA : This is ideal for the younger members of the group. As with any Mansarda ( attic), the wood beams are exposed and sloping. Here you have an open living space with four sofa beds, kitchen area with stove, oven, small refrigerator and a dishwasher. Kitchen counter can seat 4 and a folding dining table another 4 guests. A small and steep staircase takes you up to the small 150 square foot altrana - a typical Venetian roof top terrace where you have beautiful views over Venice.
