This family friendly villa used to be the holiday home of the owners who spent many a happy holiday and enjoyed numerous family reunions during their summers on the lake. Now they welcome guests from around the world to enjoy a wonderful holiday at Lake Como. From the villa you can take in the most amazing lake views as the property is located right on the lake shores. It is surrounded by the peace and total seclusion that the private garden area has to offer.
The property is composed of two prestigious luxury villas, located in a spectacular position, directly on the waterfront of the famous Lake Como, and set in a beautiful "Italian style" garden of 2000 square meters (21.500 sq.ft.) with secular trees and their own private beach and private harbour.

MAIN VILLA:
The main villa dates back to the beginning of the 20th century. It is a large Italian stone villa (400 sqm/4300 sq.ft), completely restored and renovated in 2005, with special care and attention to the latest technology (cable tv, internet access, cd, dvd, ccv system...), still maintaining the authentic atmosphere and appeal that only Lake Como can offer!
The villa is divided on two floors. On the ground floor, you will find a large living room that overlooks the lush garden and has direct access to the lake terrace, where there is a large table perfect for traditional outdoor Italian dinners. If you love cooking, you will certainly enjoy the kitchen area, which is particularly large and well equipped, complete with an original ancient stone fireplace that is now only a decorative element. The kitchen has an adjoining dining area, and an outdoor portico with marble table and stone terrace. On this same floor there is also one double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower and an additional half bathroom. On the lower level there are two large rooms with wooden tables for entertaining friends and various storage rooms. On the first floor you will find the rest of the bedrooms. The villa features one master double bedroom, two twin bedrooms and two bathrooms with bathtub.

THE GUEST VILLA:
This luxury, brand new villa (completed in May 2011) offers the best you can possibly ask for, specifically designed by a famous Italian architect, to enhance the stunning lake views, the project is a combination of authentic and modern architecture, with glass balconies and "floor to ceiling" windows, that will allow you to take the most from your beautiful views of the lake and the mountains on the opposite shore!
This property (150 sq m/1700 sq.ft.) features all the most recent technological innovations, automatic entrance door, plasma tv with satellite, internet access, cd, dvd, ccvv system etc. The villa is furnished with the very best Italian designer brands such as b&b, flou, flexform, cassina and poliform! On the ground floor you have the sitting area with sofa, Satellite TV and fully equipped kitchen corner that opens onto a terrace with breathtaking Lake views, furnished with table and chairs. On the first floor you have one master double bedroom with terrace overlooking the Lake and ensuite bathroom with shower, one twin bedroom always with Lake views and one bathroom with shower.

THE SURROUNDING AREA
Oliveto Lario is made up of the charming villages of Onno, Vassena and Limonta. These small villages are all favorites among locals, Milanese who make their way to the lake on weekends and foreigners who want to experience the lifestyle and beauty of Lake Como.
Originally Roman settlements, the small villages each have something to offer: Onno, the name itself describing the mild climate enjoyed here, is well-known for the cultivation of olives. Brought by the Romans and continued to the present day, the area yields close on 200 quintals of olives per year. We recommend you take a look in to the Baroque Chiesa San Pietro with its medieval frescoed interiors or enjoy the long pebbled beach from where you can take a dip in the lake. Chiesa di S Ambrogio e Bernardo located in the centre of Limonta have their origins in the middle ages, and have been remodelled and rebuilt throughout their lifetimes and crossing the road you wind down towards the small but charming harbour of Limonta. Not forgetting Vassena that offers you some great restaurants and bars, for a plate of lake fish and some local company.

MAIN VILLA: 4,300 Square Feet / sleeps 8
The main villa dates back to the beginning of the 20th century constructed of local stone, and renovated in 2005, refitted with the latest technology including Satellite TV, WiFi, Camera Security System, yet still maintaining the grand look of prestigious villas sitting on the Lake Como's shoreline.

GROUND FLOOR
A large living room overlooks the garden. Fully equipped kitchen but the fireplace, once used for cooking is now only decorative. The dining room adjoins the ktichen and leads out to a covered terrace with a marble table. A double bedroom wtih en suite bathroom with shower and a hall bathroom complete this floor. Stairs do lead down to the lower level where there are two large rooms with tables for entertaining and multiple storage rooms.

FIRST FLOOR
Staircase leads you up to the three other bedrooms - a double bedroom and two twin bedrooms (cannot be joined together). These three bedrooms share two hall bathrooms, both with tubs.

THE GLASS FRONTED VILLA 1,700 square feet / sleeps 4
This very special villa was completed for the start of the 2011 season. Designed by a famous Italian architect, it is stunning. Floor to ceiling walls of windows offer breathtaking views of the lake. To get the most out of the views, the architect designed glass balconies so as not to obstruct this incredible vista of the lake and mountains. This villa also has the latest technology and maybe a little more than the main house. Automatic entrance doors, plasma TV with Satellite channels, WiFi, CD, DVD and security camera system as well. This villa has a modern touch, and is furnished with a more modern designer brands.
