A historical 18-hole golf course is available 11 kilometers away.
Located in the residential area built on the side of the hill you can reach the lakeside village of Argengo in just a 10 minute walk through narrow cobbled alleyways that date back to Roman times, or by car on a road that winds down to the village. There is a small village just a few meters north of the villa with a very good restaurant.
The town of Argengo is a typical small lake village, a place you will welcome after a long day of sightseeing where you can relax and unwind among non-tourists, grab a coffee or a peaceful dinner in a local restaurant.
Here you have a boat dock, a small beach and a ferry stop. There is a waterside promenade, a bank and bar and restaurant and every Monday morning the market. There is also a small fruit and vegetable store, an ice cream shop and bakery. The supermarket is located in nearby Lenno for those that need to stock up the villa. From Argegno you can take the cable car to the town of Pirgra and Argegno- Cima della Duaria conservation area - a plateau that enjoys beautiful views of the lake and the pre-Alps.
Many guests enjoy this area of the western branch of Lake Como – due to it being quite narrow it offers you dramatic views of both the north and south areas of the lake as well as across the lake to its eastern edge of the branch where the slopes rise out of the water at severe angles, offering stunning backdrops. This area is also is well connected by road and ferry to Como and Menaggio and to Lanzo, a well-known hiking area.

GROUND FLOOR :
From the front door, enter into the entrance foyer and into the large living room with seating for 15 centered around a large fireplace, large windows looking out towards the lake and French doors leading to the gardens. The large, 700 square foot dining room also has a fireplace. The kitchen is also large, covering more than 500 square feet, it is fully equipped including an indoor wood burning pizza oven. A king bedroom with en suite bath with shower and its own private terrace is ideal for those that prefer not to climb stairs. This floor also has a guest bathroom. .

FIRST FLOOR:
All bedrooms have lake views, Both twin bedrooms can be converted into king beds, and each have their own en suite bath with Jacuzzi showers and private terraces. There are two more bedrooms on this floor, a King and a Queen, both having their own en suite baths with Jacuzzi showers and private terraces.

SECOND FLOOR :
( Mansarda or attic, with sloping ceiling)
A single bedroom with en suite bath with shower, this room is best for teenage children, nanny or personal staff.

The guest cottage can be rented only with the Main Villa at an additional charge and includes a large living room with sofa bed, small kitchen, double bedroom with doors leading out to a private terrace, and a bathroom with shower.

Villa Vista Lago is surrounded by a fenced garden of almost a full acre. Spacious lawns, sculptured gardens of luscious plants, flowers and trees are maintained in pristine condition. There are many tranquil places to relax with outdoor sofas and tables in lovely settings. The heated salt water swimming pool commands full sun on a 765 square foot fully furnished terrace. There is also an outdoor barbeque area.
