Villa La Luna includes a series of connected buildings, a massive infinity pool with sundeck area, idyllic walking and horseback trails, and it also features its own farm, horse stables,and a large organic garden.
Fully staffed to take care of your every whim, you will be totally pampered at this stunning Tuscan villa located twenty-five kilometers south of Siena.
You may find yourself having to pry yourself away from this beautiful estate to sightsee nearby Siena and environs, wanting to simply enjoy the beauty, history, and adventure of Villa La Luna and its grounds. Take a guided tour by foot, bicycle, motor vehicle one day. A guide can take you on a picnic reached by horseback in many of the bucolic locations within the estate. Another day you may want to try a cooking class. Pick vegetables with the chef in the organic garden. On a night of your choice, an Astronomer will invite you into the observatory where he will peel back the roof while the large telescope reaches for the skies all the while pointing out the heavens. There is also the spa area where you can meditate, and hire a yoga teacher and or a masseuse. Afterwards enjoy the three plunging pools where your choice of hot, warm and cold pools await you. Villa La Luna has a full time staff, including an in house manager who can customize a single day or your entire week. Select a week based on a specific passion – such as horseback riding or cooking. Another option is to create your own itinerary - and choose from a variety of activities. Make and taste percorino and ricotta cheeses at a shepherd's farm and share a meal in his home. Cook ancient Italian family recipes with the villa's master chef or at a Tuscan mother's home, Ride horseback on the ancient Roman roads through unspoiled landscapes (experienced riders only and over fourteen years of age, please), Hunt for truffles, golf at nearby championship courses, Shop and sightsee, taste wines, visit the impressive nearby Monte Oliveto Abbey - then relax as your personal concierge will customize a week just for you. Each itinerary includes plenty of delicious seasonal food and Italian wines, as well as tales and sights of local cultural and historic interest. How you spend your time is totally up to you.
There are several spacious common rooms in the villa as well as outdoors where you can gather with just a few or all of you at the same time. All rooms have panoramic views and full of natural light. A spacious independent pavilion performs as home theater while the villa offers many other areas where to relax, to lounge, have a drink or escape for some alone time. A generous dining room accommodates up to 30 guests but you will be dining al fresco on the terraces with incredible views. A fully equipped kitchen, available to staff only but you are welcome to participate, completes the villa.
The outdoor social areas are very comfortable and showcase a covered loggia, the pergola, a set of three spa plunging pools in hot, warm and cold, a wide delightful terrace in front of the house, a private gym and massage room, and the stargazing observatory where the owner will offer a complimentary star gazing night to your group.
The grounds are very well landscaped and accommodate several outdoor seating areas, perfect spots for reading a good book or enjoying the views of the Tuscan hills. The infinity edge massive private swimming pool and the three plunging pools at different water temperature are perfect after a massage or work out. The unspoiled views from there will also recharge your soul. VIlla Luna is set in a gorgeous green forest reserve and it is perfect for very large groups with different interests.

GROUNDS
The villa sits on a hilltop surrounded by a forest of oak, cork and chestnut trees. The buildings are connected by small courtyards and large terraces. There is one large terrace that provides a beautiful outdoor living and dining area and a glass conservatory with a small bar where guests can meet to enjoy pre-dinner aperitifs or just relax and enjoy the views of the gardens and valley beyond. A gravel path leads through the well manicured lawns to the large infinity swimming pool and another path leads to a campfire area and the observatory. Further below is the spa complex, with outdoor plunging pools, indoor pool and steam rooms where you can receive spa treatments and massages. Walk a little further and you come to the forest and the organic vegetable garden where you are more than likely to meet the villa's chef. Here you will also find an outdoor kitchen where the chef conducts cooking classes. Beyond the vegetable garden are stocked trout ponds.
