The apartment is located in a historical palace in the heart of Florence that dates back to the 12th century and restored again in the 17th century to its grandness. Destroyed during World War II, when the nearby tower crashed into the top floor of the palace, it was restored after the war from the same stones and bricks of the tower that fell onto it. The new millennium brings another restoration. This one blending the old with the new, as the interior designer owner used layers of paint to highlight the post World War II restoration.
A lovely terrace offers up beautiful roof top views.

ACCOMMODATIONS

The apartment is part of a Renaissance Palace located in the heart of Florence. Enter the palace through a set of magnificent antique doors and you step into a grand neoclassical hall with its original columns and stautes. A beautiful vaulted staircase leads to the upper floors or the elevator is reached by one short set of stairs to the elevator to the 4th floor.
FIRST FLOOR
Here you enter the apartment and are in the large foyer. In front of you is the large 646 square foot living and dining room with French doors that lead out to the fully furnished rooftop garden terrace. To the left of the foyer is the fully equipped eat-in kitchen, with state of the art appliances and stainless steel countertops, large refrigerator with ice machine and a flat screen TV with BBC and CNN channels.
On one side of the living room is the master bedroom, with French doors that lead out to the terrace. It has a king size bed, marble bathroom, walk in shower with Turkish steam bath and a staircase that leads to a loft bathtub. On the opposite side of the living room, facing the street side, is a twin bedroom with en suite marble bathroom and walk in shower. Between these two bedrooms is a hallway that leads to the guest powder room.
A second master suite bedroom at the end of the hallway has a king size bed, French doors out to the terrace, a marble bathroom with wall mounted shower in the tub and stairs leading up to a private lofted sitting room with sofa/day bed and a 50 inch flat screen TV. At the end of the hallway is a fourth bedroom, located on the street side and has a king size bed, marble bathroom, stone sink, and separate showers and toilet area with lots of storage room. A steel staircase in the living room takes you to the fifth bedroom with a king size bed, en suite shower room with double stone sink.
The terrace is large (over 650 square feet) and offers rooftop views of Renaissance Florence. Perfect for dining al fresco or having an aperativo before dinner.
