Casa Puccini is a large, country house situated just eight kilometers from the ancient town of Lucca, one of the most beautiful small towns in Italy. Lucca's most striking feature is that it is surrounded by massive 16th century ramparts. The top of the wall that surrounds the city is lined with trees, that have been planted as far back as 1550. Rent a bicycle in town and take a ride around the wall, or a leisurely stroll and admire the views. This birthplace of Puccini is also known as a Roman town dating back 56 B.C. Museums and restaurants are plentiful here and it is easy to spend a few days here. After sightseeing, you can bask in the Tuscan sun by the large swimming pool complete with chaises and tables. There are several terraces for dining and relaxing, all with views of the Luccan countryside. The house can be separated into two townhouses, if necessary, each with its own living room and kitchen, accommodating ten guests.
On your arrival, you will find the villa chef cooking your complimentary welcome dinner in typical Tuscan custom consisting of Antipasto, Pasta course, Meat course, seasonal vegetables fresh made focaccia and bread, and a delicious dessert with coffee. complete with wines from the nearby vineyard.
