Ideal for large family celebrations, weddings or a group of friends, Corte Landondi will welcome you to an authentic Sicily, set among hundreds of acres of olive and orange groves. In the 17th century it was common to build courtyard style homes in the center of the owner's estate to provide living quarters, storage of oranges and lemons, horse stalls all centered around the courtyard. The owners would live in the main part of the house during the summers and during the picking season. Corte Landoni is still in the same aristocratic family, and one wing is still their home, if only visited on occasion.
This17th century 12 bedroom home has been restored for the 21st century without losing its charm and character but offering modern conveniences. Sitting on 110 acres you have spectacular views over open fields, orange groves, with the the sea in the distance and even views of Mt. Etna.
Relax and unwind, here you will find peace and tranquility. among the vast and lush gardens. Sit by the pool or head to the beach just 10 minutes from the villa. Meditate in the Indian pavilion surrounded by candles or a quiet spot under a shade tree. Gather the group for an exploration of the Sicily outside your gardens. The choice is yours. Your only other decisions would be if you want to have your aperitivo in the library or the terrace, and a discussion with your villa cook over what your dinner or lunch menu for the next day. This is where you come to slow down and relax, enjoy time with your family and friends.
