This extraordinary beautiful stretch of Italy sits between Rome and Florence with open, breathtaking views of the Mount Amiata, the unchanged profiles of the hills that we admire in the old master Tuscan paintings. Within walking distance from the villa is the small village of San Casciano dei Bagni. With just under 2,000 residents, it is small enough to have quaint characteristic charm and large enough to offer charming shops and restaurants, including a coffee bar, butcher, baker and pastry shop. A five minute walk from your villa and you are in the town's storybook piazza where you can sit and people watch among an incredible backdrop of the Val d'Orcia scenery. The famous Fonte Verde Spa is located here as well and will welcome you for a day or even a half day of pampering.
The old Roman spa - from which the village derives its name has just been refurbished offering eight natural hot water pools, beauty and health treatments. There are superb quality wine tastings in the village and nearby cities produce super Tuscan Brunello di Montalcino and Montepulciano wines, famous throughout the world. But the real secret beauty lies in the old Roman roads with no traffic, taking you to the medieval magical towns, full of visual beauty.

ACCOMMODATIONS

A short set of steps takes you to the front door and a long impressive hallway with high ceilings and marble floors that runs the full length of the villa.
Spacious open living /dining room with an impressive working fireplace, flat screen TV and Stereo System.
There are two dining each accommodating twelve guests each and French doors open to the outdoor living areas. From the far side of the living room you enter the fully equipped kitchen. The large wooden table in the kitchen seats six and is ideal for a quick snack or preparing gourmet Tuscan meals. Adjacent to the kitchen is the staff's room.

The outdoor area can be considered as additional living space with incredible outdoor seating areas. Privacy is guaranteed with the 4500 square meters gardens that surround the house. From the large spacious living/dining room, two sets of French doors lead out to a covered loggia that also has bamboo shades to shelter from the setting sun. From the loggia, continue out to the sun deck, a stone terrace and large 14 meters x 7 meters x 1.5 meters deep heated swimming pool. Light the candles around the pool and the ambiance embraces you warmly. Four of the six bedrooms have direct access to the front lawn which is bordered by trees for privacy from the road leading to the town of San Casciano dei Bagni.
