Lots of things to do in the area, bike through the miles of vineyards that produce the famous sparkling Prosecco. visit the nearby towns, the capital of the region, Vittorio Veneto, and the small, authentic village of Conegliano where you will be shopping alongside the locals. Take a cooking class on a nearby farm where you forrage for seasonal foods in the nearby meadows and forests and come back to the farm to create a meal from what nature gave you.

Of course Venice is the most famous city in the Veneto and about a 45 minute train ride. Being so close to Venice allows you time to see the other islands that tourists don't always have time for, San GIorgioa Maggiore, San Servolo, Torcello and Pellestrina. Of course you can watch glass being blown in Murano, buy lace in Burano or swim on the Lido beaches alongside Venitians on a hot summer day. or visit the Albarella Island where flocks of pink flamingos can be spotted in the wild. Golf courses and resorts acan be found here as well on the islands of Donzella and Ariano. Also enjoy the cooler area of the Alps by exploring the Dolomites and the national park with a visit to Cortina d'Ampezza. Lake Garda is under two hours for boating and swimming as well as exploring the mystical town of Sirmone where the castle's moat reaches out into the lake. Along the lake are the charming towns of Bardolino, Lazise, Torri del Benaco, Garda and Malcesine. A day trip would not be complete without stop at one of the many lakeside beaches. The seaside resort town of Calorle offers 15 kms of golden sandy beaches. Here the shops and restaurants line the main street and the narrow alleyways and colored houses transport you back in time. Walk along the cliffs and make a trip to the lagoon which was beloved by Ernest Hemingway.

Spend a day in Padua and take the barge on the Brentana river to view the many palacial Paladio Villas. Verona is known for Romeo and Juliet, while Shakespear was never here, people make the pilgrimage to see Juliet's balcony. Verona has one of the most beautiful opera settings- the ancient Roman amphitheater dating back to 30 AD. Bassano del Grappa is know for the famous digestivo of the same name, and this charming village with a beautiful bridge is home to the Alpini - hikers that made a significant contribution to WWI. There is also a paper manufacturer where you can buy exquisit notepapers and a thriving ceramics industry

Nearby the villa is the town of Treviso, with its many canals and cobbled streets lined with palaces, art galleris and in the summer weekly concerts. It was the palce where Tiramisu and Prosecco where born.

There are amazing walled villages rich in history. Soave, Legnano, Peschiera del Garda. In every even year, the town of Marostica hosts a living chess match in the main Piazza on stones that were laid out as a chess board hundreds of years ago.

Two charming and authentic villages are just under 1 mile, and the town of Conegliano is just 6 miles. A casual restaurant is within walking distance

ACCOMMODATIONS

Off of a blacktop road, you enter through the private gate into your parking area.
GROUND FLOOR :
From the parking lot, the entrance leads you into a foyer , ahead of you is the staircase to the first floor. On your right, a guest bathroom and then the entrance into the open concept living area, a large spacious dining room to your right and a cozy yet large living room with comfortable upholstered sofas centered cozily around the fireplace. Beyond the living room is the kitchen with a small table and chairs ideal as a breakfast nook.
FIRST FLOOR:
From the foyer, the staircase takes you up to the first floor. On your left is a double bedroom with en suite bath. On your right a single bedroom with en suite bathroom. To the front of the house are 2 additional queen bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. At the end of the hallway is a study / living room . Only from this room can you reach the SECOND FLOOR master bedroom with en suite bathroom. Back in the foyer, the staircase continues to the Second Floor.
SECOND FLOOR:
There is a queen bedroom with en suite bathroom and a smaller double bedroom with a hall bathroom. From this floor you cannot access the Master Bedroom on this floor, it can only be reached from a staircase in the second floor study/living room.
GARDENS
From the dining/ living room are doors leading out to a super large terrace covered with an equally large open wooden roof. Under this wooden roof is an amazing outdoor kitchen with a marble countertop and sink, a six burner gas stove top and a large stainless steel grill. On this terrace is a large wooden table that can comfortably seat 16 guests. The heated infinity pool and Jacuzzi runs the length of the terrace. The short side of the terrace abuts a large parquet patterned wood deck that wraps around part of the short side of the swimming pool and continues back towards and beyond the pool house offering a large spacious area with views over the prosecco vineyards . Beautiful views of the surrounding vineyards which produce the wonderful Prosecco wines that you can buy from the owner.
