Easy day trips to surrounding villages in the southwestern corner of Tuscany, you can easily access Umbria's as well. Spend your days exploring Orvieto, fish on Lake Trasimeno, within 20 minutes you spend the day at one of Italy's finest spas, Terme Fonteverde. The nearby train station in Chiusi provides easy access to Florence and even Rome.
But make sure you spend a few close to home so you can enjoy this quiet spot with beautiful views.

ACCOMMODATIONS
GROUND FLOOR
A private gate opens onto the steep driveway. Cross the formal Italian gardens, the front door opens into the grand entrance way. The grand piano is the focal point of the music room on your left and to your right a spacious living room with large fireplace. Further on is the well equipped eat in kitchen that can accommodate 8. French doors lead to the dining room, where you have beautiful views over the garden. A guest bathroom is at the foot of the staircase.
FIRST FLOOR
The travertine marble staircase sweeps you upstairs to the first floor. To your right is a double bedroom with en suite shower. To your left a double bedroom with a small shower. Further along the hall way is a twin bedroom with en suite bathroom with tub. Further down the corridor a third double bedroom with its own bathroom with tub with wall mounted shower.
SECOND FLOOR
Another flight of stairs takes you up to an additional three bedrooms, 2 double bedrooms both with en suite bathrooms, one with shower the other with tub and a twin bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower. The tower room has been converted to a library - study with Satellite TV, DVD and computer.

NOTES
The villa is at the top of a typical Medival Tuscan hilltown and like all ancient villages, the streets are narrow and steep. The caretaker lives next door and is always available to drive you and your cars back and forth from the town square to the villa.
Important for those that have small children: Some walls on the grounds are 1 meter high and young children, especially under six years of age, must be carefully supervised by adults. |
