Restored by an Italian architect and his interior designer wife, the villa is in an ideal location, perched on the very top of a hill, with stunning views of the Val d'Orcia valley.

It is this couple's sixth restoration in what some say is the prettiest area of Tuscany. The owners are quite the visionaries and embrace each restoration with such creativity and elegance. Their creative journey began the moment they started searching for the perfect abandoned structure, neglected for centuries. The most important factor in this equation is location: close to towns, yet with stunning views and privacy. They then began the floor plans, including all the creature comforts we are all accustomed to and demand when on vacation: en suite bathrooms with good water pressure and fixtures, lighting, state of the art appliances, satellite TV, WiFi Internet and heated infinity pool with a view. This artistic duo also have a unique talent in furnishing their homes in the style that attracts all of us to Tuscany – we like to call it rustic elegance: wood beams whitewashed in pastel colors, polished ancient terracotta flooring, unique country furnishings, all adding up to a home as comfortable and inviting as the one in your dreams. And, dreams do come true - all you have to do is plan to vacation at Redaelli!

Spend lazy afternoons in the infinity pool, overlooking the gorgeous Val d'Orcia valley and the surrounding, rolling hills. The hot tub is on a lower level, with the same stunning views.

ACCOMMODATIONS

GROUND FLOOR
Enter from the parking area into one of the two living rooms. To your left is an archway that leads to the second living room with comfortable furnishings and a doorway out to a small covered terrace with table and chairs. On the opposite end of the living room are doors leading to a second outside covered terrace and entrance to the master bedroom suite. Here is a large double bedroom, a private living area with sofa and chairs, desk and an en suite bathroom. This bedroom has also has access to the terrace. To the right of the first living room is a large dining room that can accommodate all guests comfortably. A door leads out to the outside eating area with a large table seating twelve guests comfortably. Another door at the end of the dining room leads to a guest bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen is reached through the dining room. There is also a small laundry room with washer and dryer. The second ground floor double bedroom with en suite bathroom is reached by the patio garden area.

FIRST FLOOR
The first floor is reached from a double staircase. One staircase leads to the loft bedroom with double bed and en suite bathroom with tub and shower. The other staircase leads to a terrace. The first door opens into a third living room/TV room with sofas and chairs gathered around a large fireplace. This living room leads to a twin bedroom that can be converted into a double bed. This room has a walk-in closet and en suite bathroom with shower. On the other side of the living room is a doorway leading to a double bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower. At the end of the terrace is the last bedroom; this one a double bedroom with en suite bathroom with tub.

COTTAGE
This converted sheep barn is three stories, 280 square meter / 3,000 square foot cottage offers three more double/twin bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms on the ground level. The loft offers a bar for relaxing, kitchenette and a gym.
