Also stop in to see the Basilica of S Pancrazio and the catacombs built beneath it. The Villa Doria-Pamphili and the surrounding park, Villa Sciarra are the first among Roman villas to be opened to the public. At night, a short walk to the adjoining and lively quarter of Trastevere an area that consists of a maze of narrow streets that is still one of the city's most authentically Roman neighborhoods. Trastevere is one of the oldest and typical neighbourhood of the city.
