Podere Jessica is situated on over thirty acres of vineyards, olive groves, pastures and woodland assuring you total privacy with sweeping views over the countryside.
The beautifully restored stone country house is located in Chianti between Florence and Siena in a tranquil and private area. Yet it is only a twenty minute walk to a charming fortified medieval village in a stunning setting. The town was founded by the Romans and still maintains its original design of tiny streets winding around fairy tale stone houses. The village has all the necessities you'll need to live as an Italian, including a bakery, coffee bar, butcher shop, restaurant, pharmacy, bancomat, tourist office and other shops.
It is also an excellent base for excursions to the quaint villages in Chianti, Greve, Panzano, Castellina and Radda. The famous medieval cities of Siena, Florence, San Gimignano and Volterra are easily reached from Podere Jessica. After a busy day of sightseeing, settle into the slow steady rhythm of Italian life under the wisteria-covered pergola. Relax poolside and have dinner under the covered loggia. There are hiking trails through the woods where you can have a picnic on a stone table or stroll to a nearby winery.
Ideally located half way between Florence and Siena and while it is only a 5 minute drive to the motorway from the house - you cannot see or hear the highway from Podere Jessica.
