The Piano Nobile was the main living floor of a city palace during the Italian Renaissance. This apartment was just that in 1500 when the owners lived here. Now it is a wonderful apartment, blended with a touch of the old and new worlds. The number of frescoes on the walls and ceilings will amaze you and remind you of the Renaissance period that was born in Florence and changed the way of thinking not only for Italy but for the world. Magnificent paintings surround you along with comfortable, modern furnishings and all the conveniences we are accustomed to, including telephone, fax, TV and stereo. The Fresco Apartment is located in the center of town, conveniently near restaurants, coffee bars and shops where you will be in step with not only the tourists, but also the Florentines as they go about their own daily shopping. This lovely palace apartment is on a small street, and adds to the feeling of being at home& in Italy.

Entrance foyer with frescoed walls and ceilings leads into the living/dining room with the focal point being the large marble fireplace. A hallway leads to a frescoed study with phone, fax, stereo and TV. The sofa bed converts to a single bed for an additional guest. Past the study is a bathroom with shower and further down is the kitchen, a bright and spacious room that has a set of French doors leading to a pretty terrace for dining al fresco or enjoying a good glass of wine after a long day of sightseeing. The bedroom has a queen size bed on a modern wood platform and an en suite bathroom with sink and tub and a separate WC.
