Villa dell'Onore is a beautiful home in a beautiful location. It was built in the 19th century as a summer home for an aristocratic Italian family, who still owns it today. The interior of the home is glamorous. The mosaic floors, the wooden great staircase and the statues are all of superb beauty. The villa has a glorious view of all three arms of the lake and the mountains beyond. The large private garden has centuries-old sequias, cedars, palms and oaks. There is a private tennis court and a private yacht mooring in the harbor (must be requested at time of booking). Golf courses, chip and putt, bicycle and motorboat rentals, waterskiing and windsurfing are all available in Menaggio, just 10 minutes away. Riding is available at La Pinetina or Grandola Centro Ippico La Torre, both about 25 minutes away.
