Located on the shores of Lake Como, Villa Regina Bellissimo is just 3 kilometers from the town of Cernobbio, nestled between George Clooney's villa and the villa d'Este Hotel. This home, situated on the beautiful grounds of Villa Regina is decorated with fine antiques, has some of the best views in the world. The swimming terrace is simply spectacular. The large swimming pool has fabulous views of Lake Como and is overlooked by a 12th century bell tower. There is also a beautiful 200 year old greenhouse on the terrace and 11 working fountains on the property. For those who prefer swimming in the lake, Villa Regina has its own dock.

ACCOMMODATIONS
Once the guard's house, this 4,950 square foot villa dependence on the estate of a much larger (almost 30,000 square foot) Villa Regina. Built of the local stone and wood, it is nestled on the lake front among lovely gardens with spectacular views of Italys' most famous lake. You are assured your privacy, since Villa Bellissima will not be rented when the cottage is booked.

The house has a light and airy feeling. The spacious living room has a modern look with white sofas, a fireplace and windows on the lake. The large dining room has a antique Tuscan table that seats ten comfortably and leads to a modern and well equipped professional kitchen. All of the bedrooms have tranquil lake views. Two powder rooms complete the house.

The gardens of this estate are considered to be some of the most historic and beautiful on Lake Como. Guests will enjoy fresh flowers from the cutting and rose gardens. There is also an extensive vegetable garden and orchard so that our guests can enjoy fresh fruit and vegetables during their stay. The swimming terrace is spectacular, filled with lemon and olive trees and the views of the lake are breathtaking. Overlooking the swimming pool is Sant' Agata's 12th century belltower. There is also a beautiful 200 year old greenhouse on the terrace. The estate property ends at the lake's shore. The dock area is beautiful as well, encased in antique local stone both on the walls and on the steps leading to the water. The dock area is filled with roses, creeping jasmine and oleander. We will be happy to help you rent a boat from a reliable sorce. The boats are great for visting other towns and taking a relaxing ride to see the area.
