This little cottage has been renovated in the classic Tuscan tradition, with typical original materials including terracotta floors, wood-beamed ceilings, stone archways and country antiques. The grounds and the exterior are also typical of this area of Tuscany which gives the house a unique character to those of us not familiar with the style of buildings in the Lucca countryside that date back 500 years. You are surrounded with the Tuscany of Old, yet living with all the modern conveniences that we've come to expect in our everyday lives.
The nice feature of this charming cottage is that it is located just at the border of a very sweet hamlet, yet it is surrounded by olive trees, a nice swimming pool and an authentic terrace completely furnished for relaxing and dining any time of the day or night. You really have the best of both worlds when you combine the slow easy pace of country life and the convenience of a sleepy little village. And you are only 24 miles from the center of Viareggio, one of the most beautiful beaches in Tuscany!

ACCOMMODATIONS
GROUND FLOOR
The fully equipped kitchen and dining room lead out to the covered patio. Through an ancient brick archway you enter the living room with a fireplace and satellite TV. Past the living room you will find a small single bedroom with direct access to the garden. A hall bathroom with shower is located adjacent to the bedroom. Small laundry room on this floor.
FIRST FLOOR
Two Queen bedrooms, one with a romantic four poster iron bed draped with curtains and the other with a classic iron double bed in country style. The bedrooms share a hall bathroom with Jacuzzi tub.
OUTDOOR AREAS
Lovely terrace looks out onto the owner's small olive grove. Steps lead down to the swimming pool, wood burnging pizza oven and barbeque. A covered patio adjacent to the kitchen has a lovely iron table with chairs ideal for dining al fresco.
