Aventino is a very nice residential area where you will find a lot of magnificent villas with large gardens and wonderful views. A perfect example is this regal 18th century villa with a three story air conditioned apartment surrounded by gardens and a terrace that overlooks the Circus Maximus. Carefully decorated by the owners, who live in the main part of the villa, this apartment boasts both tasteful and comfortable furnishings. Parquet and hand painted Vietri ceramic floors, double paned glass windows and hand painted tiled bathrooms with new fixtures and heated towel racks are just a hint of the attention to detail.
You are only a 5 minute walk to the Colesso metro station that will take you to all parts of Rome, including the Vatican city, but you are also walking distance to Trastevere, Piazza Venezia, and the Roman Forum. Two bus lines stop in front of the villa, and the metro will take you to the Piazza di Spagna and Vatican City and even to the train station. Neighborhood restaurants and grocery shops are just a short walk from the house.

The entrance is on the ground floor where you have a queen bedroom with en suite bath and a twin/double bedroom and a staircase that leads to the lower level. Here is a bathroom with shower and a small double bedroom with a dressing room with a sofa. From the lower level is a second staircase, this one a spiral, that leads to the top floor which has a living/dining room and a spacious and airy fully equipped kitchen. From the living room you can walk out on to the furnished terrace that is surrounded by large shade trees and magnificent views of ancient Roman ruins. The perfect retreat to sit and sip a glass of wine at the end of a long day.
