This light and airy apartment is located near the Campo di Fiori or "Field of Flowers", that was once a meadow and is now one of the most famous piazzas in Rome. You are also close to the small ancient streets and buildings that make up Trastevere.
Situated on a picturesque street in the heart of Rome it is lined with large palaces and lovely courtyards. You are only a short stop from the only arch of the viaduct ~ planned but never carried out ~ by the famous scuplture, Michelangelo. His plans were to connect the Palazzo Farnese with the Villa Faresina by a bridge to cross the Tiber. Even though he never got to see this dream realized, you can walk the street and feel the history around you. Peer into the many well maintained gardens just beyond the entrance gates of the many large palaces that line this street. The beautiful church of Santa Caterina da Siena is also in the neighborhood. Lots of trattorias and stores give this neighborhood a warm and welcoming feel.

Take the elevator to this second floor apartment. Beautiful antique furniture throughout and a large and spacious living room is followed by a formal dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. A small studio has double sofa bed and there is a double bedroom and a French bedroom (one adult or two children) followed by a single bedroom. All three bathrooms have tubs with hand held shower.
The apartment gets a lot of natural sunlight, and combined with the large rooms and high ceilings has a very light and airy feel to it. Well appointed and a nice location.
