This very special apartment is located in a coveted area of Rome, just one block from the Spanish Steps. You'll never get lost, as you can plainly see the Column of the Immaculate Conception which intersects with the beautiful pedestrian street this apartment is on. This landmark was commissioned by Pope Pius IX and on the feast day of the Immaculate Conception, December 8, he would climb up to the statue to place a garland of flowers around her. Today, a procession is still led to the column, but a fireman now does the honors.
This neighborhood is home to another one of the most famous streets in the world, via Condotti, important in early Rome as a pathway across the Tiber and is now lined with the most famous names in fashion. It is a wonderful neighborhood where you will find everything you need all within a few steps from the apartment. Stop for a café and cornetto before heading off for a day of sightseeing. Shop alongside Romans for your freshly baked breads, produce, meats and fish. Or just sit in a nearby café reading your newspaper and people watching. This is an ideal apartment for a heady experience of living in Rome.
The apartment itself is on the second floor (our 3rd) of a beautifully restored Palace with an elevator. Centrally located, you will find that you can easily walk to the Piazza del Popolo, Pantheon, Piazza Navona and Campo dei Fiori. The nearby metro will take you directly to the Colliseum and Vatican.
This apartment is beautifully restored, with a magnificent central hallway banked with antique lead glass doors that separate each room, original painted wood beamed ceilings and light colored wood floors.
The English speaking owner is a lovely woman who will greet you when you arrive and answer any questions you have.

From the elevator, enter into a small foyer and a cozy living room. A long hallway runs the length of the apartment which has magnificent stained-glass windows and archways at each threshold. Take a right down the hallway and you pass the living room into the eat in kitchen. Beyond the kitchen is a bathroom with shower and a double bedroom at the end of a hall. A small balcony at this bedroom has a concealed washing machine. Walk back down the hallway and through the living room and you come to a second living room that leads to the twin/double en suite bedroom. This living room can be used by this bedroom as a large suite, or it can be converted into a twin / double bedroom. Because you need to go through this room to get to the twin/double bedroom, and this bedroom would need to go through the twin bedroom to get to the bathroom, we recommend it for family members or very good friends!
