The owner of Piacentini is charming and the housekeeper was simply amazing. The apartment is luxurious, welcoming, comfortable and immaculate.

The owner, Olga, was warm, welcoming and forthcoming with suggestions. Antonio, the concierge, was very helpful for making suggestions, reservations and helping with logistics.
The flat was comfortable (although not our taste in decoration). The only suggestions would be better lighting for reading and working, especially in the kitchen. We used the kitchen quite a bit as we were exploring the ingredients and home cooking of Italy on our trip. The kitchen seemed set up for less serious and frequent cooking.

We first stayed here in 2006 with our family and just loved our time here. In 2007 it was just my husband and I that returned to Rome and we didnt feel we needed such a large apartment, so we rented Cleopatra from Papavero. While Cleopatra was very nice and in a good location near the Spanish Steps, during our entire two weeks at Cleopatra, we found ourselves longing for Piacentini. So this year, 2009 we returned to Piacentini and have decided this is the only place we want to be when in Rome. The neighborhood is residential, quiet and yet close to the Spanish Steps and metro, bus stops, etc. We love all the neighborhood restraurants and the grocery store is convenient for daily shopping just like the natives! We are so happy to be back!

We go to Rome every year for a month and our regular place was booked. This apartment was above and beyond our expectations. So much so, that we intend to return every year. The owner was so kind and accommodating, arranging a private massuese to come to the house whenever we requested it. The welcome basket was much appreciated on our arrival and the daily maid service had us spoiled. Thanks so much for this recommendation! We look forward to returning every year.

We had a wonderful stay here, the location was ideal, right off Via Veneto. We found the neighborhood to be very quiet in the evenings and safe. All of the beds were firm, the kitchen was small, but we didn't do much cooking while we were there and we enjoyed the maid putting out breakfast every morning. We used the driver to pick us up from the airport, very convenient!

The apartment was just lovely! We loved the location, it was great for walking everywhere and is very quiet, especially in the evenings. The owner was very accomodating. The balcony while long, was very narrow and was not large enough to really sit out on and relax. Everything else was just wonderful.
