What a wonderful welcoming, warm and pleasant greeting on arrival and how nice to arrive to a fantastic spread of delicious food. More than enough but we had no problem consuming it! We truly appreciated the historic architecture and features of this lovely home and yet, we had a fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms. The beds were so comfy! The grounds were delightful, the pool and exercise room were fabulous. The outside eating areas, views and flowers were beyond compare. Thank you so much for our first Lucca experience. It could not have been a better way to celebrate 5 women's 70th birthdays. Grazie! Doreen< Paula, Marilyn Carolyn and Barb

We have enjoyed our stay at your villa in Lucca, we appreciate all of your kindnesses including the breakfast muffins and cake. Thant you also for the use of your bathrobes and change of towels - you went out of your way to accommodate our needs. We enjoyed touring the wineries, the town of Lucca and the Forte di Marmi. We would love to come back, thank you for everything.

We have had a wonderful time at Casa Puccini. Laura and Gabriela have been very helpful. We can't speak highly enough of both the place and the owners. The walking has been great too and the detailed maps Laura gave us enabled us to find the many waymarked routes in the Tuscan hills. We look forward to returning soon!

Hi Patrice, I wanted to let you know that Daniela and her husband were such great hosts, the villa was incredibly beautiful and we all had a wonderful time.
You told me how great a property it was, but it was hard to imagine just how wonderful it is. The house itself was so well built and insulated, we hardly were aware of each other when in our rooms. Having two kitchens was perfect for this group, as we had many great chefs. We used the smaller kitchen for cooking projects (like our TexMex dinner for the Germans and Italians and Daniela and her husband) and the larger kitchen was perfect for breakfasts, games, and for the younger families to eat and hang out.(They took the two bedroom groupings on the Michele side so had nice access to the large space.)
This was a special time for us to come together and while we were all connected through me, some new special friendships were formed, too. Thanks for your help and I hope your season is going well. I know that Jacque Schmidt has booked "Casa Puccini" for next June, and you may have some other bookings, too. I have been recommending you and the casa to many friends.
For us teachers, doctors, and techies, this was an entirely affordable and "once in a lifetime" memorable gathering. We really had a nice time with Daniela. She is an incredible woman with her volunteer service as a doctor, her hosting of her villas, and her general love of people. We like her husband, too! (We did get a tour of her big villa, with the enlarged dining room you told me about. Her and her husband's rooms are beautiful, too.) What's not to like?
Thanks for making it happen.
Best regards,
Diane

Casa Puccini was absolutely beautiful and the owners were wonderful hosts. Our group was very comfortable there. The house is well built and well designed so that each family had quiet and private space and persons sleeping in bedrooms, upstairs or down, were not disturbed by activity in the kitchens/living rooms. The well-equipped kitchens were perfect for us as we had some great chefs in the group and we cooked many meals.
Daniela and her husband were very helpful leading us to nearby bakery and pizzeria; she brought us treats several times, and the meals she cooked for us were delicious and generous in portions. They joined us for a Tex Mex meal that we prepared one evening. She is a lovely generous person and we were happy to get to know her. The beauty and peaceful ness of the grounds was amazing. We all commented that the house and gardens were even better than what was shone on the website. Everything was spotlessly clean and in good working order.
We were able to take day trips to Florence, Lucca, Volterra, the beach, and even Siena from the casa. We took the children to the Pinocchio Park which is very close. It was fun for the children and a place that Italian families visit so a nice cultural experience. I would recommend this property to others and I think that a friend has already booked it for next year!
Thank you for your help and good service.

What a wonderful house! The outdoor patio was so beautiful, the kitchen big and roomy, all the rooms were comfortable and clean, even if the living room was a bit small, we spent most of our time outdoors, and the pool is just wonderful.
We found the location great for exploring Cinque Terre, the beach town of Viareggio and Florence and Siena.
What a lovely owner, we found her to be gracious, Welcoming and Wonderful!

A fabulous home, I loved the beautiful flowers, views and swimming pool. We especially loved hanging out under the gazebo and relaxing in the gardens. The cooking grill area was so nice and relaxing way to cook. There is a nice winery next door - so convenient.
We highly recommend this lovely home, it was very peaceful with wonderful vistas and gardens. The location was great, We went to Lucca, Firenze, San Gimignano, Volterra, Pisa, loved the Cinque Terre hike Just Heavenly!

Casa Puccini is magnificent! Much more beautiful than the website photos! It is completely renovated with modern amenities and perfectly maintained. The house is spacious - many of the beds are king sized which is rare in Europe and the bathrooms are all modern and completely updated. The location is fabulous and the pool is beautiful and the amenities perfect but most of all the owner is the most gracious and generous person I have ever met.
We enjoyed renting the entire house for our large group. When renting on half of the house, you will have neighbors and you will share the pool. The bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living room, outside areas and views all garner 5 stars. There was some loud barking dogs and crowing roosters that kept us up at night and early morning but we didn't really care. It is the countryside! Sometimes the gardener arrived early as well. We recommend stocking up on food before you arrive, as most things are closed on Sundays.
