Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful! We couldn't have been more pleased. From the driver meeting us at the airport to the kind greeting we received from the owner and the beautiful apartment. We were so comfortable that it was sad to leave on Saturday morning. I miss the living room with the bank of glass windows leading out to that beautiful terrace! It was a great location and we walked to our favorite restaurant, Da Bolognese many nights! We will never forget our stay!

At times we forgot we were in the heart of Rome! A spacious and lovely apartment, what we enjoyed the most was sitting out on that fabulous terrace. You weren't kidding that we'd be in company with the birds and the bees and butterflies, and yet just steps to the Spanish Steps. We really felt like Romans every time we crossed the threshold of the building. At times we would hear them rehearsing at the nearby music academy but it didn't bother us and in fact we enjoyed it. This is the perfect apartment for spending Spring in Rome. We just loved our stay here.

What a wonderful two weeks staying here at Babuino. I will always remember walking out to the terrace every morning with a cup of tea and a biscotti enveloped in the tranquility and peace seldom found in this bustling city. The song birds were in the olive and lemon trees and bees were polinating the bougainvilea. I sometimes forgot I was in Rome! That is until you step past the archway of this lovely palace and down this quiet street into the hustle and bustle that pulses through this eternal city. Some evenings we would stroll to Piazza del Popolo or the Spanish steps and just soak in all the activity, but we were always so happy to return "home". The owner was a very gracious woman and we enjoyed her hospitality and kindness. Everything was perfect, we shall return!
